Metrolink Spokeswoman “Quits” For Telling the Truth about California Train Crash in Chatsworth
Denise Tyrell, a Metorlink spokes person woman, who almost immediately announced that a train operator caused the September 12, 2008 Metrolink accident in Chatsowrth, resigned because she though she would be fired for telling the “truth”. According to Tyrell, her supervisiors gave the appearance that they would fire her for telling the truth about the deadliest Metrolink accident in California history. The National Safety Transportation Board announced on Sunday that it was indeed an engineer’s mistake which lead to the deadly train crash just north of Los Angeles.
Federal and state investigators are now investigating whether or not the train engineer was sending text messages to teens, instead of paying attention to train signals, causing the train crash.
